PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS
We greatly prefer to have your membership dues paid online, by clicking on one of the links below. This method sets up a recurring annual payment for you, automatically, using our registration form followed by secure PayPal. On the registration form, you will choose your own password for access to the Members' Area, where the Newsletters are located. (If you ever want to get out of the recurring payment arrangement, it is very easy to cancel it; but using it simplifies the process substantially for all of us.)
Please note: the VCS is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt non-profit organization, so all dues and contributions are tax deductible, to the extent allowed by law.
(If paying online and/or having a recurring annual payment is a problem for you, you can mail a check instead, payable to Violoncello Society, Inc., to Violoncello Society, P.O. Box 231588, New York, NY 10023. In that case, please also e-mail us at info@violoncellosociety.org to arrange online access to the Members' Area. However, we strongly encourage you to pay online if at all possible.)
For the moment, we are not issuing membership cards, but we will have a list of members, with the person at the door for our events, and for other related purposes. As for student ID for joining as a student member - the best way to get it to us is to scan it and e-mail it to info@violoncellosociety.org. Or, you could mail us a copy at the address in the previous paragraph. Either way, we will connect it with your membership payment.
If you have questions, you can e-mail the VCS at info@violoncellosociety.org. But please remember that we are in transition, and are still functioning without a secretary - so we request your ongoing patience regarding hearing back from us.
To take the next step, please follow the procedures below. We look forward to welcoming you as a new or renewing VCS member.
